The main idea is to inform high school kids and their parents that most drug abuse happens with teenagers in high school starting by going to a party and having multiple drugs. This makes the source reliable because it gives information that the author knows will help. It’s just not giving you ideas on how to help, its giving more than just a word or a sentence. The author has no conflicting evidence because the author is saying that drug abuse is a big deal, and that it’s leading kids into doing the wrong things in life.
I think in a way of form it’s like taking away people purpose in life. The important thing to some high school kids is drugs and they will fight for what they want. Drugs, life, school what’s next?
