All A's Equal Healthier Years Later

“Class rank is important for more than just wowing college admissions officers and securing bragging rights”. The main ideas to inform that class ranking is important; if you have better grades then the healthier you’re in years later. The author’s viewpoint is that more degrees equal better health. I think by what the author means is the better you do in school and the better your grades are you’re going to be healthier in later years. In the article the author questions “why good grades correlate with better health?” I think just being an A student have more of a conscientious not only about academics but their health too. The article stated that “perhaps the skills required excelling in school”. That a quote tells me that the author means it will lead the students with all A’s to a better instinct to improve on life and do better in their jobs.

This article is reliable because it’s an everyday website (From Time.com) that some people or adults uses and looks at for more scoops on the world. Its an reliable source because they have an contact us so they can give the author feed back on what they think on the article. It shows that they updated the article or the website in 2012 of this year.

People questioning that if you’re an A student you will be healthier years later then what if they make average grades and still be healthier years later? Hmm I wonder if the author has more conflicting evidence on if or if not it has to do with grades. I think it’s just a heart—smart thing to do, just to make people think what the author thinks.

Drug Abuse

The main idea is to inform high school kids and their parents that most drug abuse happens with teenagers in high school starting by going to a party and having multiple drugs. The author’s view point is that “teenage students’ bodies, reputations, wallets, images and grades suffer as a result of drug abuse.” This is a reliable source because there is a link to get help for therapists who can help kids who are doing drugs get off it. This makes the source reliable because it gives information that the author knows will help. It’s just not giving you ideas on how to help, its giving more than just a word or a sentence. The author has no conflicting evidence because the author is saying that drug abuse is a big deal, and that it’s leading kids into doing the wrong things in life.

I think in a way of form it’s like taking away people purpose in life. The important thing to some high school kids is drugs and they will fight for what they want. Drugs, life, school what’s next?
